Can't beat spray foam... all fiberglaas insulation is very porous. Closed.cell foam.my basement is 80+ degrees when its.20 - below... outside...i save 3 tanks of oil now...some people like vanilla ice cream some people like chocolate ice cream...:) I like to be warm that's why i.used spray foam... great video though thank you well said...

That diamond texturing on the noico mat is the gauge on whether or not you rolled it down well enough. If you can still see the diamond patten and you're 'done' you're not actually finished and the vibrations passing through the metal that create the noise you hear, will NOT be adsorbed by the material. Think of holding a metal bat and gripping it really hard, then swinging at a very dense large object, that vibration that hurts your hands. Don't hold as tight and it doesn't hurt as much. Yeah same idea.
