When you added fluid after driving, did you add it through the fill plug again? You didn't show and installed the heat shield is why I'm curious. I'm about to do mine. I will wait to install the heat shield of I'm going to possibly have to add fluid unless there's another way.
Why dont you recommend a flush?
My yukon denali 2015 did not get any oil change and now its past 200k kilometers, some mechanics suggest not to change since it might break the transmission, please advice
Very informative. I changed the trans fluid on my 82 f150, and I’m thinking about doing it for my 2015 Tahoe. This vid helped get over some of that fear of messing up lol
Thank you!!!
I can smell this video, Lol.
Hi, just a quick question, I have a 2016 Yukon Denali, do you have a fix or an idea for shaking or engine vibration? Dealer don’t want to accept there is an issue with the car
Hey Danny I got a bit confused in the video, did you put the same ATF that you took out back in? Or did you use new ATF for all 7-8 quarts
I recommend a flush but do it your self don’t take it to the dealer. I did mine on my 2015 Cadillac Escalade, new filter welded a bolt for easy maintenance for next time, delete the thermo switch and then flush the transmission from the return line on the radiator came out better then the dealership.
Great vid! 5 minute job, and this solved the mystery of my intermittent cruise control failure on my 1993 C2500 Suburban. For others, if your cruise cuts out or won't come on at all, ... by lifting up on the brake pedal (using your foot) while setting the cruise. If it stays on and then cuts out once you remove your foot, this switch is the culprit!
My truck has 4 wheel drive, will I still be able to do this? The diff Is underneath. Thanks!
And then simple remove the ends out of the sleeve? hahah! Im doing a 2002 jeep and there rusted like a bitch!!! Wont budge
Great job on the video.  Thanks for posting it. I'll be using the information to assess what I need to do to straighten my steering wheel on my 98 Z71 P
Nice video!
I have 6 ton Pittsburg stands from harbor freight should I be worried
Thank you so much for this. I couldn't figure out how to get that connector off before watching this, and other videos glossed over this part despite it being the most frustrating (for me anyways).
Good stuff. Changed mine on my 2015 Yukon today. I appreciate the info.
