Thanks so much man was so stumped on the back ones couldnt find them
Only difference I can see is the location of the egr tube
How do you remove he middle bolt in the back? What tool do you use?
Hi Jay, Any suggestions: I flushed my K1600 clutch and used the new Blue Blood Fluid. There is a tiny air bubble I think close to the master cylinder. How do I get that pesky bubble out? It has been four months and it still has not worked its way to the reservoir. I was thinking of breaking loose the upper hose or i could try to do a vacuum at the slave but hate to waste the $26 blue blood fluid
i'm looking for that Venom stand everywhere, but cannot find it.
I have an 03 Gs. Is it necessary to move this to replace the egr?
First thank you for recording this! Secondly what tool setup did you use to get those off? I'm having a terrible time trying to get the bolt below the egr port and the one between it and the egr off.
I'll be doing the air filter replacement in prep for a ride out to the Black Hills so your video helped. Also you might want to consider getting rid of the OEM radiator shroud and replace it with a Rad-Guard. Your temp gauge will thank you. Ride safe.
Thank you for this video! This is gonna be my winter project. I can't stop admiring the level and kind of engineering that goes into these bikes...
O my God thxxx u so much I was going nuts. I have the Gts to. And dose not look like any of the other videos I've seen why is it GTS different than the GT
Thanks for the upload. I struggled today trying to find those last two bolts... fingers crossed I have better luck tomorrow.
what did you torque the manifold bolts to and is there a certain pattern? thanks for reply about the value cover,
Thanks Jay. Fyi the reason why I watched your video is to change my rad fluid over to MOTUL engine ice. It takes 10-20 degrees out of the fluid.
Great video Jay! Thanks very helpful.
Thank you so much mate I apprecaite it very much
I have all the same issues minus a visible coolant leave
First...thank you for this video. It was definitely a help. Man that lower EGR bolt is a nightmare on a GTS. Can't get a socket on it, get a racheting wrench on it and all the welded on brakets prevent it from racheting. How did you get that lower bolt off the EGR? Been on that bolt for 5 hours now. Everything else was a breeze. Any tips?
Nice video! I would have liked to have seen the removal of the coils and the tool used to do that. Is the tool really necessary and what risks are associated with not using it.
All well explained. Thanks!
I was able to tackle this job thanks to this video. Many thanks. A tip I discovered: instead of heating up the air transfer tube and pulling it out, you can loosen the 12 screws that bolt it to the engine and remove the whole assembly. If you use L shaped torx wrenches, it’s doable. Those screws are not on very tight and you can even get the tricky ones back on with just your hand.
